Getting started

Sign in, add a source, and open the first tour or quiz, so you learn the code that landed, not just skim it.

Open the app and sign in. Your account gives you a private space for the repositories, docs, and sites you are learning, plus any team spaces you have been invited to.

Add a source

Tech Professor learns from sources: a Git repository, a specific pull request or branch, a documentation set, or a website. Connect a GitHub repository to pull it in, or point Tech Professor at a docs URL. Once a source is added it appears in your library, ready to generate from.

Generate your first artifact

From a source, generate an artifact: a quiz, a walkthrough, or a set of flashcards. Pick the type, choose the scope (the whole repo, a PR, a branch, or a folder), and Tech Professor builds learning grounded in the underlying code and prose.

Open it in the library

Everything you create lives in your library, organized by source and folder. Work through an artifact to earn the understanding, or ask the in-context Tutor a question when you are stuck, without leaving the material.

New here? The Generating content guide covers the source and scope options in depth.
